Silent Hill

The first half... scary as hell. The second half not so much, but still good. Great details like ambient noise and textures match the game exactly. That one scene... you know the one... made my boobies hurt.

Super Size Me

I'm never eating at McDonald's again. And I think I want to marry Morgan Spurlock. And his plucky vegan wife. Rent this movie.

Dave Chappelle's Block Party

Dave Chappelle is adorable and the music was excellent. But it wasn't just a movie I could sit and watch, so I started drawing halfway through. But it was really nice to have on in the background. I want to live in the Broken Angel house... except I'm afraid of heights. And bugs. And rats.

Rumor Has It

First off, before you laugh, I want to say that if you don't know why I rented this movie, you don't read my blog enough.

Secondly, this is movie is so uncomfortably bad, I almost had to turn it off.

V for Vendetta

As many of you can tell, I am a big fan of the comic/graphic novel based movie genre. I've seen a lot of them. Some have been good (Sin City) and some have been bad (Hulk), but I have to say that this one is among the best. From the cinematography that's dark, but not too dark, to the graceful fight scenes, to the overly poetic, political script, this movies hits all the right notes, being careful to not overstep the boundaries into cheesiness.

Ultraviolet

I so wanted to like this movie, despite that it looked like a Resident Evil/Aeon Flux rip-off. And sure enough, that is exactly what it is. Some of the action scenes start off sorta cool, but quickly get boring and most go on too long. The dialog is horrible and the plot has so many holes I eventually had to just turn it off. Even the hotness that is Milla couldn't save this movie.

Yay!

After too much delay, the DVD player has been replaced. Thank God.
